Project Portfolio
World-Wide Mortality Rates Capstone Project
Python, SQL, Tableau, Machine Learning Models
Our team gathered more than 30 years of Mortality rates for the top causes of death for nearly every country in the world. Using Machine Learning Models and 30 years of data, predictions can be made with over 80% accuracy whether the mortality rate for a given country will go up or down.
UFO Sighting ProjectJavascript, HTML, CSS
This project used a large, offline dataset of UFO sightings across the United States. I was asked to improve accessibility to the data by visualizing and hosting it online in a searchable database so that others could use it as well.
Mission to Mars Project
Jupyter Notebook, HTML, BeautifulSoup
Built to scrape the web at the click of a button, gathering and presenting new Web Articles that talk about Mars Rovers and NASA plans for manned spacecraft to the red planet as well as some photos and fun facts.
Earthquake VisualizationPython, HTML, JavaScript
Taking US Geological Data that was in a JSON file, I created a map with multiple layers that could be used to visualize all the earthquakes going back to 1900 that were over a specific intensity. Multiple Map modes were included and the Techtonic plates were added as an optional overlay to visualize how much activity happens around the plates.

Data VisualizationPowerBi/Tableau
By scraping all the Publicly available data on Hospitals, I was able to create a powerful dashboard for prospecting that shows all the financial and clinical metrics for every Hospital in the United States. I also was able to pull contacts for the hospitals, create visuals and tables for further analysis/specific tables, and host it all online so any of my team could access and work on it, or even show it to clients and prospects!
